Abstract

The development of the health sector is not solely carried out by elements working in the health sector itself, but is greatly influenced by the results of hard work and positive contributions from various parties related to the health sector. Public health problems can start from the behavior of individuals, families, groups and communities including those related to environmental health problems, maternal and child health, adolescent health and health for the elderly and the utilization of health service facilities is still very low. This community service activity aims to improve their ability to recognize public health problems, organize their potential and resources and to overcome the health problems they face. This service activity is carried out using community survey methods, health education and counseling and evaluation at the end of the activity. The conclusion of this service activity is that the community has gained knowledge about the importance of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior in improving the health status of the community, understands the importance of changing open defecation behavior through activities that trigger public understanding about the importance of personal hygiene (how to wash hands with soap) and know the steps to take. correct CTPS demo by default.
