Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country and has the fourth most populous population in the world, so it is expected to suffer greatly in the longer term when compared to less populous countries, when the novel Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 most seriously hit China during December 2019 until February 2020. The Ministry of Health reported 81,668 positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 3,873 deaths (CFR 4.7%) spread across 34 provinces. The most cases occurred at the age of 45-54 years and the least occurred in 0-5 years. The highest mortality rate was found in patients aged 55-64 years (Ministry of Health, 2021). The purpose of this activity is to reduce the burden on the government, especially the Health Service and Puskesmas in increasing awareness of the transmission of COVID19 in the Betombari Health Center area. This service activity is carried out by the method of distributing masks, outreach and case tracking. All activities were carried out well in accordance with the plans made and received support from various parties as well as high enthusiasm from the goals of service.
