Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional problem that exists in the world, many are found in developing countries, one of which is Indonesia. The problem of stunting is the increased risk of a person's illness and death, inhibiting motor development and mental growth of a person. The factor of low sanitation and environmental hygiene is one of the indicators of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS). The incidence of stunting can be caused by several factors. Direct factors are lack of food intake and the presence of infectious diseases. Infectious diseases cause nutrient metabolism in the body to be disturbed so that it can cause nutritional deficiencies during growth. Other factors are poor knowledge of mothers, wrong parenting patterns, poor sanitation and hygiene and low health services. The purpose of the activity is to increase knowledge about stunting to the community and improve PHBS in stunting prevention efforts. The educational activities went well and received a good response and enthusiasm from the respondents. For this reason, educational activities need to be carried out continuously as an effort to increase public knowledge, especially the nutritionally vulnerable groups, namely pregnant women and toddlers
