Gemala Borneo Utama (PT. GBU) is one of the companies engaged in the field of gold mining, located on Romang Island, Southwest Maluku Regency, Maluku Province. Resource calculation plays an important role in determining the quantity, quality and ease of commercial exploration of a deposit. Because the results of the calculation of good and accurate resources that are in accordance with its existence in the field can determine the investment to be invested by investors as an investment in the mining business. For this reason, calculation of manganese ore deposit resources is contained in the Black Stone West Prospect. This study aims to determine the amount of manganese ore deposit resources that have the potential to have high economic value. The method used in this study includes research methods in the field and research in the laboratory. The results of the study that the total volume of manganese ore deposits contained in the study area is 16,000 m3 then multiplied by the density of manganese which is 1.7 tons / m3, then the amount of the total resources in the study area is 27,200 WMT with an average ore content of 27.59% and ore thickness is 2.22 meters
