PENGARUH KONDISI EKONOMI KELUARGA TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SMP NEGERI 25 KEPULAUAN SELAYAR KECAMATAN PASILAMBENA KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN SELAYAR

The formulation of the problem in this study: 1) how much influence the economic education of the family to student achievement in SMP Negeri 25 Selayar Islands. Pasilambena District, Selayar Islands regency and 2) How big the relationship between economic condition of the family and student achievement in SMP Negeri 25 Selayar Islands. This study aimed: 1) to find out how much influence the economic condition of the family to student learning achievement in SMP Negeri 25 Selayar Islands, Pasilambena District, Selayar islands Regency and 2) to find out how much the relationship between economic condition of the family and student achievement in SMP Negeri 25 Kepulauan Selayar This type of research was quantitative research. The population in this study was all student of SMP Negeri 25 Selayar Islands, totaling 127 students. Samples collections instrument and techniques used were questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study ware simple linear regression analysis and product moment correlation analysis. The results of the study could be explained that, based on the results of simple linear regression analysis obtained by the regression equation Y=61,50 + 0,42X. form the linear regression equation. It showed that if or every one unit increase occurred in the economic condition of the family it would also result in an increase in student by 0,42. This showed that there was a positive influence between the economic condition of the family an student achievement in SMP Negeri 25 Selayar Islands. Based on the result of the calculation of the product moment correlations formula, there was a relationship of family economic conditions to the learning achievement of student of SMP Negeri 25 Selayar Islands. Form the result of product moment correlations analysis, the value of r=0,506 was obtained this showed that there was a sufficient relationship between the economic conditions of the family on student achievement in SMP Negeri 25 Selayar Islands was shown by the coefficient of determination of 26% these result indicated that student achievement by 26% was influence by family economic condition, the remaining 74% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study
