<p><em>The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Mawasangka in Buton Tengah Regency in the subject of functions through the application of the MMP learning model. This study was a classroom action research with 30 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Mawasangka as the research subjects. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and learning outcome tests. The conclusion of this study is that using the MMP learning model in the subject of functions can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the initial test results, which were categorized as sufficient with an average score of 47.58 and a completion rate of 30%. The average mathematics learning score in cycle I was 64.67, and the number of students who achieved a passing score was 60%, which was categorized as good. In cycle II, the average mathematics learning score increased to 74.67, and the number of students who achieved a passing grade was 86.67%. In addition, the observation data in each cycle showed a change in attitude towards a more positive direction, both in terms of attitude towards learning and active participation in assignments and homework</em></p>Rahmatia RahmatiaAzis Azis

<p><em>The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Talking Stick Type Cooperative Learning Model Approach on Increasing the Mathematics Learning Activeness of Elementary School Students, namely class V of SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone. The research method used in this research is the experimental method. The research population was all fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone which consisted of 2 classes. The sample used in the research was 38 students. The instruments of this research are an initial questionnaire and a final questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the mean difference test. The results of the research using the average difference test obtained a tcount value of 2.145 with a sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.039 <0.05, so H0 is rejected and HI is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the talking stick type cooperative learning model approach on elementary school students' active mathematics learning, specifically in class V of SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone.</em></p>Anwar AnwarErnawati JaisZaitun Zaitun

<p><em>The aims of this research are: 1) to see the influence of learning style on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau; 2) to find out the effect of emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau; 3) to determine the influence of students' learning styles and emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau. This research is quantitative research using an ex post facto correlation research model. The population of this study were all class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau with a sample consisting of 5 classes, namely classes VII 1, VII 2, VII 3, VII 4, and VII 5 totaling 217 students selected through the Purposive Sampling technique where each class A total of 6 students were taken, namely, 2 students based on the category that achieved the highest ranking, 2 students based on the category that achieved the middle ranking, and 2 students based on the category that achieved the lowest ranking. Data collection instruments and techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics using multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that: 1) there is a significant influence of learning style on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau with a variable significance of 0.000 0.05; 2) there is no significant influence of students' emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau with a variable significance of 0.191 > 0.05; 3) there is a significant influence of learning style and emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau with a variable significance of 0.000 < 0.05.</em></p>Anwar AnwarCindy Sripuja Jayanti Rizky HakirArtati Iriana

<p><em>The purposes of this study are to determine :(1) the effect of the use of applications on the attitudes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Baubau on the subject of quadratic functions and cubic functions,(2) the effect of the use of applications on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Baubau on the subject of quadratic functions and cubic functions,(3) the effect of the use of applications on the skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Baubau on the subject of quadratic functions and cubic functions. This is a quantitative research using the Experimental method. The population was all 10th grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Baubau in the 2024/2025 academic year, in the even semester. Two classes, namely class X.1 and class X.2, totaling 55 students, were taken as research samples using the Cluster Random Sampling Technique. Data collection in this study used observation sheets, tests, and performance sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the t-value of N-Gain attitude = 3.096 > t-table =2.006, the t-value of N-Gain learning outcomes = 2.756> t-table =2.006, and the t-value of N-Gain skills = 4.142 > t-table = 2.006. Thus, the t-value > t-lable, so HO is rejected. In addition, the significance level of the analysis results for N-Ciain attitude is 0.003 < 0.05, N-Gain learning outcomes is 0.008 < 0.05. N-Gain skills is 0.000<0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the GeoGebra application on the attitudes, learning outcomes, and skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Baubau in the subject of quadratic functions and cubic functions.</em></p>Nasrullah FaturachmaddinRasmuin RasmuinDian Lestari

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of mathematical communication skills on the mathematical reasoning skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey method. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton, consisting of 17 students in class A and 17 students in class B. The sample in this study was the entire population, namely 34 students taken using convenience sampling techniques. Instruments and data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics, inferential statistics using simple linear regression tests. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that mathematical communication skills have an influence on the mathematical reasoning skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 62 Buton. This can be seen from the analysis results, which show a positive regression coefficient for the mathematical communication ability variable, indicating a direct relationship between mathematical communication ability and students' mathematical reasoning ability. The calculated t-value of 2.217 is greater than the t-table value of 2.037. The coefficient of determination is 13.3% for variable X versus Y, while the remaining 86.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.</em></p>Wa UlfaErnawati JaisDian Lestari
