Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Abstract

These instructions provide the author template for submitting papers for Jurnal Kanturuna Wolio (JKW) Law Faculty of University Dayanu Ikhsanuddin. Abstract is written in proper English by using Font Arial in 10 points Italics (10 pt) and single-spaced type. A none English phrase should be written in quotation mark. The abstract is to be in fully-justified and preferably not more than 250 words. It should be clear, concise, and descriptive, which means, it should provide a brief introduction to the problem, objective of the study, research methodology and a brief summary of the result or brief conclusion.

  1. Introduction

These template include descriptions of the published article face, related to the fonts, spacing, and related information for producing your paper (for more information please read the author guideline). Follow them and submit your manuscript by JH-Volkgeist Online Submission Module. To get start, the written Headings should be numbered and in Times New Roman with 12 pt, bold and fully justified. All contents are written by using font type Timesn New Roman also in 12 pt in size. A non-English phrase should be identified in italics. Maximum words limit is 8000 words including the references, tables, and appendices.

The body of a manuscript opens with an introduction that presents an adequate background under study and describes the research strategy. The introduction should be clear and provide the issue to be discussed and very short literature survey in order to record the existing solutions, to show which is the best of previous researches, to show the main limitation of the previous researches, to show what do you hope to achieve (to solve the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the paper.

  1. Method

The method is written descriptively and should describe the research methodology or steps in conducting the study. A brief justification of the method is recommended to give an idea to the reader about the appropriateness of the method, reliability and validity of the results.

  1. Main Heading of the Analysis or Results

The results should summarize (scientific) findings of the study.  It should be written in clear and concise. The separation or com-bination of Results and Discussion is accepted. If the result is separated into some subheadings, the subheading should be numbered as following example:

The separation between sub-headings and sub-sub headings should be numbered as well.

If the content has examples povided, it should also be numbered with Alphabetical numerals as below:

Tables and Figures are presented center and cited in the manuscript. The figures should be clearly readable and at least have a resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) for good printing quality. Table made with the open model (without the vertical lines) as shown below:

4. Conclusion

Conclusion contains a description that should answer the objectives of research. Provide a clear and concise conclusion. Do not repeat the Abstract or simply describe the results of the research. Give a clear explanation regarding the possible application and/or suggestions related to the research findings.

Acknowledgments

Recognize those who helped in the research, especially funding supporter of your research. Include individuals who have assisted you in your study: Advisors, Financial supporters, or may other supporter i.e. Proof-readers, Typists, and Suppliers who may have given materials.

References

This template provides the author a brief way in writting references, for more information please refer to the publication manual of the American Psychological Association (2010) or the published article of JH-Volkgeist.

References at the end of the manuscript should be written alphabetically in APA (American Psychological Association) Citation Style. All the citation ideas that have been cited in the text should be recorded properly in reference list. Please ensure that every reference in text citation is also presented in the reference list (and vice versa).
