Publication Ethics

This scientific publication ethics statement is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the scientific journal publication process, namely managers, editors, bestary partners, and authors. The Code of Ethics for Scientific Publication basically upholds three ethics in publication, namely (i) Neutrality, free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, authorizing authors to authors; and (iii) Honesty, free from duplication, fabrication, forgery, and plagiarism in publications.

After reading this Scientific Publication Ethics, please download the Ethics Statement and Copyright Agreement. Please sign and of the Ethics as part of your article submission. The Copyright Agreement must be submitted before the article can be published. The Ethics Statement and Copyright Agreement can be mailed, emailed, or faxed.

Duties and Responsibilities of Journal Managers

1. Determine the journal name, scope, scaling, and accreditation if required.
2. Determine the membership of the editorial board.
3. Determine the relationship between publishers, editors, reviewers, and others in a contract.
4. Respect matters of confidentiality, whether for contributions from researchers, authors, editors, or reviewers.
5. Apply norms and provisions on intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
6. Review journal policies and share them with authors, editorial board, reviewers, and readers.
7. Establish code of conduct guidelines for editors and reviewers.
8. Publish the journal regularly.
9. Ensure the availability of funding sources to sustain the journal.
10. Build a network of cooperation and marketing.
11. Prepare licenses and other legal aspects.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Editor

1. Meet the needs of readers and authors,
2. Seeking continuous improvement of publication quality,
3. Implement processes to ensure the quality of published papers,
4. Prioritize freedom of expression,
5. Maintain the integrity of the author's academic record,
6. Provide corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies where necessary,
7. Responsible for writing style and format, while the content and all statements in the paper are the responsibility of the author/authors,
8. Actively solicit the opinions of authors, readers, bestarial partners, and editorial board members to improve the quality of publications,
9. Encourage journal assessment if there are findings,
10. Support initiatives to reduce research and publication errors by asking authors to attach an Ethical Clearance form approved by the Ethical Clearance Commission,
11. Support initiatives to educate researchers on ethical publication,
12. Assess the influence of publishing policies on the attitudes of authors/writers and bestary partners and improve them to increase responsibility and minimize errors,
13. Be open to new opinions or views of others that may conflict with personal opinions,
14. Not defending one's own, the author's or a third party's opinion that might result in a non-objective decision,
15. Encourage authors/writers to make improvements to the paper to be published.

Bestary Partner Duties and Responsibilities

1. It is the editor's duty to review the paper and submit the review to the editor, as material to determine the eligibility of the paper for publication.
2. Reviewers may not review papers that involve themselves, either directly or indirectly.
3. Maintain the privacy of the author by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions, and recommendations by providing criticism, suggestions, input, and recommendations.
4. Encourage the author/writers to make improvements to the written work
5. Review papers that have been improved in accordance with predetermined standards.
6. Papers are reviewed in a timely manner according to the style of published scriptures (data collection methods, legality of authors, conclusions, etc.).

Author/Writer Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure that the list of authors/writers meet the criteria as authors/writers.
2. Take collective responsibility for the work and content of the article including methods, analysis, calculations, and details.
3. State the origin of resources (including funding), both directly and indirectly.
4. Describe the limitations of the research
5. Respond to comments made by partners in a professional and timely manner.
6. Notify the editor if you are withdrawing the paper.
7. Make a statement that the paper submitted for publication is original, has not been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher.
