Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how much influence product quality has on purchasing decisions for Samsung Brand Smartphones in Ngnganaumala Village, Batupoaro District, Baubau City. The method used in this research is descriptive method . the subjects in this study were the people in the Nganganaumala village who used Samsung brand smartphones and the instruments in this study were the researchers themselves with data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using SPSS 25 software. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis the quality variable is positive with a t-count value of 7,925 > t-table value of 1,857 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, from these results the value of the determinant coefficient (R^2) is 0.520, this means that the quality variable has a 52% contribution to the consumer purchasing decision variable, while the remaining 27.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study
