TINJAUAN KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYARAKAT NELAYAN DI DESA TANOMEHA KECAMATAN KALEDUPA SELATAN KABUPATEN WAKATOBI

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in ths studi was how the socio-economic conditions of the fishermen community in Tanomeha Village, South Kaledupa District, Wakatobi Regency. This study was a qualitative research type with the research subjects were the fishermen community as many as 25 people. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that in terms of the level of education possessed by the fishermen community, it is not sufficient. This can be seen from the results of the data that have been collected that the average level of education is still relatively low, namely many who only graduated from elementary school and did not go to school at all. The hosing conditions of the fishermen community of Tanomeha Village are on average non-parmanent at the puskesmas and have BPJS for free treatment and the place is easily accessible. The fishing community who has a possition is only 1 perso from the total number of respodens and the others do not have a position at all. From an economic point of view, the income of the fishermen community in Tanomeha village is still relatively high, with an income of IDR 3,220,000-4,000,000. The expenditureof the fishermen community in Tanomeha Village in a month is an average of IDR 700,000-1,500,000. The average savings of the fishing community in Tanomeha Village is IDR 80,000-2,850,000.
