PENGARUH INTENSITAS BERMAIN GAME ONLINE TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA SMK NEGERI 1 BAUBAU

Formulation of the problem in this research was how big the influence of intensity playing online game on students learning interest of SMK Negeri 1 Baubau. The purpose of this research was to find out the influence of intensity playing online game on students learning interest of SMK Negeri 1 Baubau. This research was ex post facto quantitative research with correlational approach. Data collection in this research carried out using instrument namely questionnaire. The questionnaire was aimed to students to find out data about the influence of intensity playing online game on students' learning interest., Obtained data analyzed using descriptive analysis, simple linear regression analysis and product moment correlation analysis. Based on the result of the research obtained: I) descriptive analysis result of intensity playing online game of students SMK Negeri I Baubau obtained lowest score 16 and highest score 30, the mean score was 23.83; 2) descriptive analysis result of SMK Negeri 1 Baubau students' learning interest obtained lowest score 34 and highest score 59, the mean score was 44.79 3) based on the result simple regression analysis there was a positive influence between intensity playing online game on students' learning interest of SMK Negeri 1 Baubau, it was proven with Y=30.45+0,60X. Correlation coefficient was 0.3] and determination coefficient was 9.6I or 9.61% the rest was influenced by other factors that were not examined, for example nature, habits, physical, physiological, teachers, learning environment and infrastructure
