Abstract

The  formulation  of  the  problems  in  this

study are (1) how is the application of the Talking Stick learning model in improving the Integrated Social Studies learning outcomes for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 34 Buton? and (2) whether the application of the Talking Stick learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Integrated Social Studies for class VIII SMP Negeri 34 Buton? The purpose of this study was to find out (1) the application of the Talking  Stick learning model  to improve student learning outcomes in Integrated Social Sciences class VIII at SMP Negeri 34 Buton. (2) Improving student learning outcomes in Integrated Social Studies subjects through the Talking Stick learning model for class VIII SMP Negeri 34 Buton. stages, This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 34 Buton for the academic year 2021/2022 with a total of 14 students. The research procedure in each cycle consists of 4 namely planning, action implementation, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The data in this study were collected using research instruments the form of observation guidelines, social science learning outcomes tests and reflection.
