PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GALLERY WALK DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 4 BAUBAU

Abstract

The problem of this research was whether the cooperative learning of Gallery Walk Type can improve economic learning activity and achievement to eleven grade students at XI SMA Negeri 4 Baubau. This research aimed at improving the economic learning activity and achievement to eleven grade students at XI SMA Negeri 4 Baubau. This research was action research that conducted by the teacher of economic subject as observer and researcher collaboratively. The subject of this research was the IPS-3 student of eleven grade that amount 15 students. The data collection instrument was observation sheet and learning result test. The technique of data analysis used percentage formula. The result of research showed that the implementation of cooperative learning model of Gallery Walk Type could improve 1) students learning activity which based on the result comparison first cycle at the first was 54,39% and the second meeting increased 61,21% and the second cycle at the first meeting was 71,06% and the second meeting was 82,12%. 2) Based on the evaluation result at first cycle showed that cooperative learning of Gallery Walk could increase the student achievement with the learning test result was gutted by the average value at beginning test was 57,66 (20%) and increased 70,33 (60%). At the evaluating result of Cycle II become 81 or 60%. meanwhile the teacher activity showed the successful to reach learning improvement from 61,37% at the first meeting of cycle I become 70,54 at the second meeting and increased again at the first meeting of cycle II become 77,27% and become 88,63% at the second meeting. Therefore researches concluded that the implementation of learning used the Gallery Walk type could improve the activity and performance of economic subject learning of the XI grade students at SMA Negeri 4
