MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TWO STAY TWO STRAY (TSTS) DI MADRASAH ALIYAH (MA) AL-IKHLAS SIOMPU BARAT MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI KELAS X KECAMATAN SIOMPU BARAT KABUPATEN BUTON SELATAN

The formulation ofthe problems in this research are: (1) can the Two StayTwo Stray (TSTS) learning model improve learning activities and (2) can the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model improve learning outcomes. The aims of this research are to determine: (l) an increase in students ' learning activity in X grade of Economics subject at Madrasah Aliya (MA) Al-Ikhlas Siompu Barat through the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model and (2) an increase in students ' learning outcomes in X grade of Economics subject at Madrasah Aliya (M4) Al-Ikhlas Siompu Barat through the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model.
This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects ofthis research were 15 students ofX grade MA Al-Ikhlas West Siompu. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consisted offour stages, namely: (l) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) evaluation or reflection. Instruments and data collection techniques in this research were: test techniques, observation techniques and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this research used qualitative data analysis techniques, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) presenting data, (3) drawing conclusions and verification.
The results of this research indicated that: (1) the Economics learning activities of X grade MA Al-Ikhlas West Siompu students who were taught by applying the Two Stay Two Stray learning model in each cycle increased. This could be seen from the percentage ofstudents ' activity in cycle I the first meeting was only 57%, while the second meeting was 66%. Then in cycle Il the first meeting increased by 77%, while the second meeting increased by 86%. This has exceeded the specified success indicators, namely 70%; and (2) the description of the results ofX grade MA Al-Ikhlas West Siompu students in cycle I showed that the percentage value of learning outcomes was 60%, while the results of the description of students' learning outcomes- in cycle 11 have increasedwhich showed that the percentage value obtained by studentswas equal to 86.66%
