PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE STAD (STUDENTS TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOM KELAS X IPS 2 SMA NEGERI 3 BAUBAU

Abstract

The problem in this research were: 1) whether applying cooperative learning model in STAD type improve students’ achievement in Economic subject at grade X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Baubau; 2) how teacher’s and students’ activity in learning process by using cooperative learning model in STAD type in Economic subject at grade X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Baubau. The objective of the research were to know the improvement of students’ achievement; and teacher’s nd students’ activity in learning process by using cooperative learning model in STAD type in Economic subject at grade X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Baubau. This research used classroom action research consisted of two cycles. The subject in his research was grade X IPS 2 with 23 students. The research outcomes showed that applying cooperative learning model in STAD type improved students’ achievement in Economic subject at grade X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Baubau. It could be seen from the completeness percentage in each cycle. In pre cycle evaluation, the percentage of completeness was 43.47%, in which the result increased in cycle I and cycle II with the percentage of completeness were 69.56% and 86.95%. Applying cooperative learning in STAD type improve students’ learning activity, it could be seen that the percentage of students’ activity in cycle I was 68.29%, got improvement in cycle II with 84.96%. Therefore, it could be concluded that applying cooperative learning model in STAD type improved students’ achievement and activity at grade X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Baubau
