PERAN KOPERASI DESA MOKOBEAU TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN ANGGOTA DI KECAMATAN SIOMPU BARAT KABUPATEN BUTON SELATAN, INDONESIA

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of Mokobeau Village Cooperative on the welfare of members in the Siompu Barat sub-district of South Buton Regency. This research uses survey research with quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study was all Mokobeau Village Cooperative members that were 113 people. Determination of the number of samples used formulas from Taro Yamane then the samples obtained were 53 people. Samples were taken using random sampling techniques. The data collected through the method of observation, questionnaire, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is correlation and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) the correlation between the role of cooperatives and the welfare of members amounted to 0.378 or included in the criteria of weak correlation and adjusted R square of 0.128 meaning variations in the welfare of members can be explained by the role of cooperatives by 12.8 percent, the rest is determined by variations of other variables which is not examined (2) the regression equation model obtained is Y = 6.626062323 + 0.378186969X. This means that if the cooperative increases its role by 1, the welfare of members will increase by 0.378186969. Because the value of the cooperative role p-value (0.0029), is smaller than 0.05, so, the cooperative role variable has a significant influence on the welfare of members (Y)
